Shareholders of PrivatBank plan to increase its share capital
The largest Ukrainian bank PrivatBank will increase its capital by UAH 6 billion by the end of June this year.
Shareholders of PJSC CB "PRIVATBANK" will consider increasing the bank’s share capital at the extraordinary general meeting to be held on 6th April 2015 in Dnipropetrovsk. On 13th March 2015 the bank’s Supervisory Board approved the agenda of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, which includes an increase of the share capital of PJSC CB "PRIVATBANK" through private placement of additional shares with the current nominal value. The share capital will be increased through additional contributions from the bank’s shareholders. PJSC CB "PRIVATBANK" share capital is planned to be increased by UAH 5 billion. The placement of shares is to be held by 30th June 2015. We would remind readers that on 24th November 2014 the general meeting of shareholders decided to increase the share capital through additional contributions of shareholders. More than UAH 1 billion was contributed to PJSC CB "PRIVATBANK" share capital through distribution of additional shares among its shareholders. PrivatBank is the largest Ukrainian bank and the leader in the retail banking sector with 14.6 million individual and 334 thousand corporate customers. PrivatBank’s regional network comprises 2.5 thousand branches, 7,537 ATMs and 12,165 self-service kiosks. At the 2014 year-end the bank’s assets were UAH 204.6 mln. PrivatBank’s loan portfolio increased in 2014 by 13.2% to UAH 161.3 million. PrivatBank closed 2014 with a net profit of UAH 749 million.
